In California, "vehicle inspection" often means the registration smog check - and that's the one inspection we don't perform (it requires a licensed smog station, which we are not). What we do: mechanical, safety, and pre-purchase inspections that tell you the truth about the machine. Need smog? We'll happily point you to a good station nearby.
Is an inspection the same as a diagnosis?
No - and the difference protects your wallet. An inspection is trained eyes over the whole vehicle: brakes measured, fluids checked, tires and suspension looked over, everything photographed for your digital report. A diagnosis is instrumented detective work on one specific problem - why this light, why this noise. Inspections here are free with your visit; diagnosis is its own service, normally $199 and free when you choose to get your repairs done here. We'll always tell you which one your situation calls for.
What happens after the inspection?
You get the report on your phone - photos, notes, and straight priorities. Anything urgent gets explained in person, anything that can wait gets said plainly, and nothing moves forward without your approval. The report is yours either way, and it becomes part of your vehicle's history here, so next visit we're comparing against a record instead of a memory.
