What wheel balancing is - and why it matters
No tire-and-wheel assembly is perfectly even; balancing measures the heavy spots and offsets them with small, precisely placed weights. Left uncorrected, even a minor imbalance causes:

Signs your wheels need balancing
- Vibration in the steering wheel, floorboard, or seat - typically worse at highway speed

Balancing vs. alignment - you might need both
They're often confused: balancing fixes vibration from uneven wheel weight; alignment fixes the angles at which your tires meet the road. Vibration usually means balance; pulling or crooked-steering-wheel driving usually means alignment. Uneven tire wear can mean either - we'll diagnose which, and fix only what's needed.
