Beautiful, historical port town San Pedro is a “whale of a town.” This harbor city has been around for, literally, hundreds of years. From Spanish conquistadors in the 1500s to becoming a part of Los Angeles in 1909, San Pedro has a long and colorful history. Modern day San Pedro residents might share some similarities with their ancestors, but are very different. You’ll still find tall ships in the harbor, ready to set sail, and you’ll see that our community still works hard and strives to take care of their neighbors – and the environment.
San Pedro Residents Care About the Environment
We know that the people who live in San Pedro care about the environment because we see so many Priuses, hybrids, and electric vehicles driving down Gaffey Street, parked at Cabrillo Beach, and cruising along Point Fermin at sunset. Plus, we talk to every Prius owner who comes in for service or repair about why they love their hybrid car. Just like past inhabitants, and current residents, we want to help San Pedro continue to be a bustling, thriving port community. We are committed to keeping San Pedro’s Priuses, hybrids, and electric cars running well so our neighbors stay on the road – and on the go.
